ép trứng nở nhân tạo

hồi hôm cặp mac của mình kè lại, đẻ nhiều trứng, mình chôm 10 mấy trứng để ép nó nở nhân tạo.

sáng nay, mình xuống coi, trứng đã nở thành công. 3 lần trước hư hết. lần cuối hư là vài ngày trước, 70 trứng, bị ung và bị mọc nấm.

lần này cuối cùng đã thành công, mình đã chụp hình ghi lại sự kiện, tối nay sẽ bỏ lên coi.

lets start with the remain half of the 70 eggs I striped from the male few days ago. The rest got fungus attack.

These are eggs that stolen from the pair yesterday.

8PM. 5 minutes old. note the shields wasn't fully erected.

4AM. 8 hours old.

as of now, I went back to two methods, one water dripping no bubbling shown, and one sit still in the dark not shown.

all 4 methods work. Yes, all eggs from different methods are hatching without fungus attack.

This time, to prevent fungus attack, as soon as I put the eggs in the cup, I drop one drop of methylene blue, which was overdose. It dyed the eggs in blue. The eggs will eventually turn yellow again. Last time, I dyed the eggs in methylene blue too, but the eggs still got attacked, and I think I know why.

I wanted to make sure if it is the methylene blue or not because I put methylene blue as soon as couple minutes, so I stolen two more eggs, put in another cup and not put any methylene blue in.

For now, I have conflicting info on methylene blue. Eggs that treated with methylene blue hatched, and eggs that did not treat with methylene blue hatched too.
Also eggs that I extracted out of the male's mouth at day 1 did not hatch while eggs I pick up from the bottom of the tank hatched, with the same method.
I stole 12 eggs, and they all hatched, while 70 extracted eggs did not hatch, not even one.

The male that I striped 70 eggs from him, when I put him back to his tank, he went back to spawn and managed to squeeze more eggs out of the female, and he was holding for 2 days. When I got back from work today, he had swallowed his eggs, and there is a reason.

In few days, wait too see how this spawn doing, I will be able confirm my conclusion, but for now, I think l know exactly what happened to the 70 eggs...

The 70 eggs were never been fertilized, the male will eat the eggs due to fungus attacking eggs inside his mouth. The male is infertile--he is too young. It might take him awhile to become fertile when fully mature.

This male eat eggs three times already. I stole eggs from him twice, and eggs did not hatch.

This time, I stole 12 eggs from the another male, who already successfully spawned and released frys twice. He did it first time.
