EXTRACT OF NUX VOMICA
This is the most potent of all Central Nervous System (CNS) stimulants. Its chemical make-up has a direct bearing in the production of energy and stamina and overall vigor to a cock’s system. It increases quickness and muscle reaction time by its actions on neurons that provide electrical impulses that control the chemical speed in which muscle reaction and contraction time takes place. It makes energy available to the muscle tissues and oxygen uptake by the lungs by increasing metabolism. It stimulates the the heart muscle and constricts the blood vessels to prevent the onset of shock and cardiac arrest due to to massive hemorrhaging. In general, it is the perfect antidote in helping prevent rigor mortis from setting in abruptly.

Nux Vomica reaches full blood plasma (maximum strength) levels within one hour after administration. Although some degree of stimulation occurs within 5-10 minutes.

Once it has reached full plasma levels – 50% is destroyed by the liver. 10% is eliminated by the kidneys directly. The remaining 40% is slowly eliminated by body processes over a period of time and is completely eliminated from the body within 10 hours.

The maximum recommended dose is 10 drops within a 10 hour period of time. Although Nux Vomica is non-cumulative in small doses (1 or 2 drops) after the initial dosage has reached half-life.

The degree of stimulation would depend on the amount given as the initial dosage. However, regardless of the amount of the initial dosage – that dosage will remain in the system at half-life after 1 hour’s time before being completely eliminated from the body within 10 hours. It therefore, is imperative that one fully understands the timing and the amount of the initial dosage that is critical in the proper stimulation of the CNS.



DIRECTIONS
Method #1. 5 drops are placed on feed or given by mouth at the morning and evening feedings the last 2 or 3 days of the keep. On fight day, 7 to 8 drops are given by mouth along with 1 Carbotec capsule at the time of weigh in or at least 1 hour before competition. If after 6 0r 7 hours have elapsed before being called to fight - give 1 or 2 drops prior to heeling or tying the knife.

Method #2. 5 drops are placed on feed or given by mouth at morning and evening feeds on the last 2 or 3 days of the keep. On morning of fight day, place 7 or 8 drops on 1 teaspoon of cracked corn or scratch feed and 1/3 egg white if fights start around noon time. If night fight, give 1 tablespoon of the above. Allow no longer or no less than 5 to 6 hours prior to weigh-in, in either case.

Method 3. The latest method is to give 1 capsule of Carbotec with Nux Vomica in place of feed if noon-time fight and 2 Carbotec capsules if night fight along with Nux Vomica. At time of heeling, give 1 Carbotec tablet (not capsile) or inject 1 cc of Carbotec injectable in breast prior to heeling. Do not use Nux Vomica or any other medication at this time. Use the Nux Vomica on as indicated above.

INJECTABLE NUX VOMICA
The usual dosage is to inject 1/4 cc in breast muscle or skin in morning last two days of the keep. On fight day, 1/4 cc is given in breast at weigh in time or at least one hour prior to competition. Give 1/10 cc at time of heeling or tying knife when called to fight– if initial injection has been over 5-6 hours.

I.Q.S. COMPOUND LIQUID
Use same method as Extract of Vomica. Contains Quinine to reduce body heat produced by Nux Vomica’s effect on metabolism which increases energy levels.

ST FORMULA NUX VOMICA
Use same method as Extract of Vomica. Contains Quinine to reduce body heat produced by Nux Vomica’s effect on metabolism which increases energy levels.

FILIPINO RED VIPER
A central nervous system stimulant which also helps prevent shock. Use 1/10 to 2/10 cc injected under the skin or injected in breast muscle just prior to heeling time. Do not use at the same time with other stimulants.



PURE AGGRESSION
Dosage is given at least 15 minutes before competition (usually just before heeling) and the effects last 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The more active (hyper) your bird is naturally, the smaller the dosage should be, also the size of the bird is important in determining the proper dosage. For injections in the breast muscle or under the skin, dosages can range from 1/10 to 4/10 cc, adjusting dosage according to: size of bird, natural metabolic rate (smaller dose for hyper birds, more for lethargic or slow acting birds), and personal experience from prior use. For starters, use approx. 1/10cc for small roosters (under 5 lbs.) that are a high strung type bird, or 2/10cc for a slow type bird. For larger birds (5 to 6 lbs.) start with approx. 15/100cc (1 1/2 tenths) for high strung birds and 1/4 cc for slow types. For birds over 6 lbs up to 7 lbs start with approx. 2/10cc for high strung birds and 3/10 cc for slow types. After heeling, while you are waiting for your turn in the pit, get your rooster as excited as possible, by tailing or allowing him to watch the action in the pit, etc. This will give him a faster start when it is his turn for competition.



For Filipino type competition, you may give the injection intravenously using from 5/100 to 1/10cc in the vein under the wing. This is normally used only for long knife because of the shorter duration of the effect, about 30 to 45 minutes. If the weather is over ~850 F. and you do not have an air conditioned cock house, it is best if you cut your dosages to approx. half what you would have used in cool weather. Usually, type of competition does not affect dosage to be used, but: in hot weather, if you are competing in long duration competition, consider reducing the dosage some to avoid overheating, unless both your cockhouse and the pit are air conditioned. For Filipino style events, a full dose is used in hot weather if the cocks have been stalled in air conditioning, even if the pit is not air conditioned. After using this product for several derbys you should be able to use your own judgment to figure the best dosage for your particular birds. Do not use Pure Aggression and another CNS stimulant product at the same time, on the day of competition.

CAFFEINE SODIUM BENZOATE 1 gr. / cc
Use 1/2 cc injected in breast muscle approx.15 minutes before competition. Do not use at the same time with other stimulants.



EASY WIN tablets
Give cock one tablet at least one hour before competition, and repeat dosage every 3 to 4 hours until fought, or give one tablet just before heeling with enough water to wash tablet down throat. Use with Supercharger to provide extra energy for cock.

EASY WIN injectable
Give cock 1/2 to 1 cc just before heeling. Use with Supercharger to provide extra energy for cock.



AMINOPLEX
Tablets: One tablet every other day for a total of ten tablets starting at the beginning of a pre-keep or one tablet daily for 10 days starting at the beginning of a 14 day keep.

INJECTABLE: Initial dose is 1/2 to 1cc depending on condition, with a follow up dosage of 1/4 to 1/2cc weekly until improvement or until day before competition day when 1/4cc is injected in breast muscle regardless of when last injection was given.

Each cc contains 1000mcg. of B12 plus Iron, Liver, B Complex and other vitamins and enzymes essential to good health and well being!

Liquid dropper bottle: Give 6 to 8 drops per bird per day during the keep, on food or by mouth.

B-15 INJECTABLE (Night Owl Method) 50 mg / cc
Use 1/4cc injected under skin last 2 days of the keep and again 3 to 4 hours prior to start of competition or weigh in time.

B-12 INJECTABLE (Cyanocobalamin) with or without B-Complex
Inject in breast muscle up to 3 times per week. Use approx. 1/4cc for 1000 mcg/cc strength, 15/100cc for 3000 mcg or 1/10cc for 5000 mcg / cc strength. Also can be used again approx. 6 to 12 hours before competition.

B-12 INJECTABLE (Hydroxycobalamin) 1000 mcg / cc,
Use approx. 1/4 cc 1 to 2 times per week and approx. 6 to 24 hours before competition. Longer lasting than cyanocobalamin, hydroxy lasts up to 96 hours.

B-15 INJECTABLE 250 mg / cc
Use 1/10 to 2/10cc injected under skin last two days of the keep and again 3 to 4 hours prior to start of competition or weigh in time.

ENZUM
Broad spectrum wormer similar to Wormazole, can be used at the same time as Neokil or Neobicide or use Enzum one day and then 10 days later use one of the other two. Use approx. one drop per pound of body weight, very safe, a drop or two extra will do no harm. Do not with hold feed. As always retreat for worms every 30 to 90 days as needed.

NEOBICIDE
Kills internal and external parasites (same product as Neokil). See note on Enzum above. Does not kill tape worms. Use approx. 1 to 1 1/4 drops per pound of body weight, a drop or two extra will do no harm. Do not with hold feed. As always retreat for worms every 30 to 90 days as needed.

PREMO
Injectable - Usual dosage is 1/4 cc in breast muscle 2 to 3 days at beginning of keep and last 2 to 3 days of keep and on morning of fight day.

VITAMIN K INJECTABLE
A vitamin which is necessary for a blood clot to form. Use 1/4cc injected into breast muscle 12-18 hours prior to weigh in or competition

WORMAZOLE
For tape, capillary, gape, round, cecal, & eye worms. Gamecocks: DO NOT withhold feed before using this product. Use 1 capsule (or 6 drops of liquid, shake the liquid well before using) for 4 to 6 lb. bird. Repeat in 10 days. Retreat every 30 to 90 days as necessary. In severe infestations, or for worms not in the intestinal track, use from 1/2 to one whole dosage for 3 consecutive days or longer for initial treatment. For eye worms, give oral dose and a drop of liquid wormer in eye, each day for at least 3 days.

NEOKIL
Use for Capillary, gape, round, cecal, eye worms, lice & some mites (mainly types that burrow into skin) affecting gamefowl. DO NOT withhold feed before using this product. One capsule or approx. 8 drops of liquid for 4 to 6 lbs body weight. Every 30 to 90 days as necessary. For eye worms, give oral dose and a drop of liquid wormer in eye, each day for at least 3 days.

ACIDIFIED COPPER SULFATE
1/4 teaspoon per gallon drinking water for 3 to 5 days.

AMOXICILLIN 250mg capsules
Use 1 to 2 capsules per day for 3 to 5 days.

AUREOMYCIN
Use 1 -2 teaspoons per gallon of drinking water for up to 14 days.

(SUPER) B-12 5500
Use 1/10cc per injection once every 3-4 days during the keep with the last injection given 6 to 24 hours before competition.

DEXTROSE 50%
Use up to 1cc injected under skin, in breast muscle, directly into vein, or by mouth for food energy which requires no digestion before use by the body.

DI-METHOX (sulfadimethoxine) powder
Use approximately 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water for up to 6 days

EPINEPHRINE (adrenaline)
Usual dose is 1/4 cc at heeling time.

GALLIMYCIN powder
Use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water for 3-7 days

GALLIMYCIN 100mg/ml inj.
Inject 1cc under skin for 3-5 days. Can be used with LA200 for a great antibiotic combo.

LA 200
Inject in breast muscle or under skin, 1cc every other day, during a 4 to 8 day time period. Can be given by mouth in cases of intestinal infections, use 1cc every day for 3 to 7 days, when given by mouth.

LEVAMISOLE worming powder,
Mix 500ml of water to the 0.71 ounces of powder in the bottle and then use 1 tablespoon of the liquid in one gallon of drinking water. Or, use 1/4 teaspoon of the dry powder in 2 gallons of drinking water. Make sure birds do not have access to any other drinking water when you are giving them this product. Use for one day and then repeat in ten days.

LIVER, IRON, B-12, B COMPLEX INJECTABLE or ANTOPLEX
1/4cc to 1/2cc once or twice a week as needed.

LS-50 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per gallon of water for 5 - 7 days.

NEOMYCIN powder
Use approx. 1 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water for 3-5 days. Use for intestinal infections only, does not absorb into blood stream from intestines.

PENICILLIN injectable and 250mg tablets
Use up to 1 cc, injected into breast muscle, or 1 - 2 tablets, per day, for up to 5 days.

RED CELL
One tablespoon per gallon of drinking water, or mix in enough feed for 15-20 roosters, or 1 cc per rooster per day.

TERRAMYCIN
Use 1 - 4 teaspoons per gallon of drinking water for up to 14 days.

TYLAN 50
Inject 1cc per day for 3 - 5 days under the skin or in the breast muscle. Excellent for respiratory (bacterial) infections. Same for Tylosin 200 except use 0.25cc

TETRACYCLINE CAPSULES 250mg
Use 1 capsule per day for up to 7 days. Is a broad spectrum antibiotic.

TETRACYCLINE powder (or OXYTETRACYCLINE) (various brands 324 to 343 mg/lb. strength)
1/4 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water, works better if used with citric acid.

WORMAL tablets
Withhold feed for 18 to 24 hours before giving tablet, then wait approximately 4 hours or more before feeding birds again. Use one whole tablet for birds weighing over 3.5 pounds or 2 tablets for birds weighing over 8 pounds
